RELIEF ASSOCIATION PLANS

All accounts in the Supplemental Investment Fund, except the Fixed Interest Account, are available to local relief associations for their pension assets. Local plans have complete discretion in determining the amount invested in any eligible account(s). (See Minnesota Statutes Section 69.77,subdivision 2(g) and Section 69.775)

Local firefighter and police retirement plans may use the Minnesota Supplemental Investment Fund for all or a portion of their pension assets. Please note that under State law, assets in your general account may not be invested in the Fund.

A link to the Investment Options Prospectus for the Minnesota Supplemental Investment Fund has been created for your convenience. This report is located under the Publications tab. Since the majority of participants in the Fund are individual employees, we have designed this Prospectus for that audience.

The accounts in the Supplemental Fund available to relief associations are:

Relief associations are not eligible to invest in the Fixed Interest Account.

Carefully review all the investment options available to you through the Minnesota Supplemental Investment Fund. We believe the Fund can provide your organization with all the advantages of mutual fund-type investment products at a low administrative cost. The Board is confident that the Fund will provide very competitive long run investment returns.
